 FCOP Primary Work

The main focus of FCOP is to spread the Kingdom of God. This involves not only leading people to faith in Christ, which happens daily in Cambodia, but also performing essential works such as caring for the poor, orphans, and widows, teaching the word of Christ, water baptism, prayer, ministering healing to the sick, and deliverance to the captives. Weddings and funerals are also important, but these works are equally essential. The purpose of the Son of God’s manifestation was to destroy the devil’s works (1 John 3:8b). At FCOP, it is standard practice for every church service to include …

Streamline

We are continuing to care for over 1,300 orphans and staff and are currently working to integrate and consolidate orphan care services in 34 homes nationwide. This decision was made after operating on a $10,000 monthly deficit. Our savings were depleted. Having to streamline services and find the most efficient way to stay on a mission meant making very hard decisions. The pivot to consolidate down to 70 homes was made with heavy hearts and bathed in prayer.  After a detailed assessment and review the headquarters staff reached out to the FCOPI board for guidance and then met with the regional leadership to discuss how consolidation would move forward. As …

Good food leads to good health

First and foremost we want to thank our partners in ministry. We can’t do this without you! The price of rice in the Cambodian market is at an all-time high and your unwavering support continues to give hope to the hopeless. A special thanks to Feed My Starving Children, Reach Now International, Children Hunger Funds, and Convoy of Hope for providing shipments of Manna Packs. When we receive the containers filled with Manna Packs we know prayers have been answered. All the essential nutrients needed for these children to function and grow are right there in the Manna Pack.  These nutrient-rich meals …

Medical Clinic

Showing our faith by what we do has become our motto. Nowhere is this better illustrated than by taking medical care to places where they have none. It’s easy to go where they have readily available medical care and just pass out reading glasses. But, to provide a full clinic with treatment, prayer, and referrals is not so easy. FCOP took a medical team from Norway and the US to the northern Ratanakiri province. The team was led by our very own Dr. Lina and FCOP board member Erik Jensen. 620 people were treated and referrals were given to regional …

He heart of our community are our pastors who have a fervent commitment to spreading the Gospel, they bring the light of salvation to those in need.  Our church is alive and continually doing outreach.   During their outreach, lives are not just touched; they are transformed.  Streamline

In our ongoing commitment to caring for the vulnerable, FCOP has undertaken strategic initiatives to streamline and enhance our orphan care programs. Dividing into four groups, we’re diligently overseeing our 108 church homes, facilitating the relocation of children who have joyfully reunited with their families. Furthermore, we’re celebrating the achievements of those over 18 who, after receiving skill training, are now equipped to secure employment outside the church homes. As we adapt to the evolving needs of our community, some young adults have chosen to continue their journey within the church, dedicating themselves to serving the Lord. This reflects the …

The Power of Prayer: A Miraculous Transformation

In the heart of Kompong Chnang Province, on Tumnub Island, a miraculous tale unfolded. Yon Sary, a 43yr old  woman was burdened by a severe illness leaving her swollen and desperate for help. She sold many of her possessions and even some of her land to pay for medical care. Physicians could not find a cure or cause of her condition. Exhausting her resources on medical treatments, she was left without hope. She was sent home to die. Her aunt went to the local temple to have water blessed by the monks and remembered the words of the local pastor …

FCOP Local Church – Radiating Light and Hope

The FCOP Local Church continues to flourish and touch lives. Through virtual daily training sessions, we equip pastors who, in turn, establish discipleship groups in villages. August marked a significant step as small pastoral teams ventured into communities, responding to invitations from those touched by our active churches. These dedicated leaders not only share the teachings of Jesus but also extend love to communities grappling with animistic practices. Their efforts bring healing, both physical and spiritual, leading to baptisms and introductions to Christ. Pastor Sou’s journey to a remote village exemplifies the dedication of these apostolic leaders as they share …

Manna Pack Deliver: Nourishing Lives and Building Futures

Thanks to the generosity of Feed My Starving Children and Convoy of Hope, FCOP has received a vital shipment of Manna Packs. As the cost of rice remains prohibitive in the Cambodian market, providing nutritious meals for our children and staff has been a challenge. Your unwavering support ensures that our beneficiaries have access to three nourishing meals every day. These rice meals are not only sustaining but also enriched with supplements that promote muscle and bone health.  A special thank you goes to Lou Binninger for your continued faithfulness in making this possible.

Upcoming Harvest

Our 50-hectare harvest is coming up in November, and we need your financial support and prayers to purchase fuel for our combines which will cost around $3000. Thank you for your generosity and love.
