Cracker Juice or Mud?

It’s been drier than cracker juice! One of the hard facts that is finally being reported in the news is the “Super El Niño.” Agriculture Departments in Thailand, Vietnam, and now finally, in Cambodia, are calling on farmers to plant late and use the low yielding but hardier, traditional varieties of rice seed. Banteay Meanchey Province, the location of our rice farm, has had fire trucks delivering water to drought stricken communities. My only concern about this bit of panic is that, all too often, conventional wisdom is wrong. God knows more than the weather forecasters! On the last day of our meetings, Prophet Phil Rich spoke over me, “The drought is broken!” That night it rained 4 inches over much of the Province and our entire rice farm. It is now too muddy to plow and the home cisterns (large clay pots under the eves of the houses) have water in them. There was 0% chance of rain that night. Go figure?
