Don’t Die Here!

Miracles are God’s calling card. It’s like he hands it (the miracle) to you and says, “This is who I am!” He gave us the Holy Spirit for that very purpose and told the church leaders not to leave town without Him. Why have we (the church) gotten so dumb? If Jesus needed the Holy Spirit, why do we think we don’t? We had two separate meetings of church leaders for the very purpose of re-emphasizing the point that Jesus made 2000 years ago, “Don’t leave town without It (Him)!”

When the meetings moved to Phnom Penh it involved mainly 500 key pastoral leaders from around the country. They began ministering to each other and powerful releases of anointing and power followed. On the last night, all the foreign prophets had left, and one of the influential leaders from Northwestern Cambodia tried real hard to die. He fell flat on his back near the rear of the auditorium, foaming and bleeding from the mouth. His hands were clenched into tight claws. He’d suffered from high blood pressure for years. People near him were crying out, “He’s dead!” Mak Sou was speaking on the platform and instructed those near him to start praying in the Spirit. As Mak Sou walked up and placed her hands on him she felt power leave her body. In less than two minutes he sat up and seemed fine except for the blood. Dr. Lina, our staff physician, took him to our hospital for observation. He started a routine IV just to prevent dehydration, and when he checked his blood pressure ii was a perfect 120/80. The next day that leader went back to Northern Cambodia and is doing fine.
