I don’t do this! I make the Cambodian’s do this kind of work. But, they trapped me! Four women, one man, Elders of the Cham Chao Church, stood in front of the congregation of 400 people, at the end of the Sunday service, and announced that God had called them to go evangelize some remote villages in Mak Sophat’s home province of Pursat.
Mak Sophat, age 69, widowed twice, has been one of the primary caregivers to FCOP orphans since 1999. We never thought of her as leading an evangelistic team. They insisted that Mak Sou and I come and pray over them for the trip. We barely touched them and down they went. One elder, we just walked toward her and she was on the floor. Strange! They left that afternoon. On Tuesday morning we got the report, they ministered in three villages and 908 people had come to Christ.
Just received your first news since sub-
scribing, was so excited and touched
that I was blessed to tearyeyes!! We had
our second mission team meeting last
evening at New Song. Too slow for me
but on par for their course. Sure hope
to have a place to serve somewhere
this Jan.-Feb. Selling my car for the
mission travel or project funds. Praying
for God’s leading and provision. I spoke
with you, Ted, about coming to Cambodia,
but will wait on our Lord’s guidance!!!
Sure great to hear your blessed news!!!
I love your news…and to hear testimony about the Lord moving by His Spirit and sending forth those He has called to bring many into the Kingdom…Wow!
