Honestly, FCOP has critics who think we “suck!” Are you Surprised?  Our reply is similar to what Nehemiah said when his detractors were trying to coax him out of building the wall around Jerusalem. “We’re doing a good work and we can’t come down”, (Neh. 6:3 sic). We’ve found ourselves doing the same thing. None of us at FCOP mean to sound arrogant or self-aggrandizing, but we just can’t allow ourselves to be distracted by so many meetings. We get invitations every few days for meetings and events, often several at the same time. I know people think we are self-centered, they doubt the numbers we quote and think we are lying. I admit, what has happened does sound preposterous! We just don’t have time or personnel to dispute with them, or run a complete census. Really? How can FCOP have about 6000 churches and meeting places with no Bible College? Well, think on this. How about raising 18,000 children at some point in their lives, leading them to Christ and get them filled with the Holy Spirit. Allow them to literally live in the church building for several years and see what happens? Do you honestly think they won’t be inviting friends and neighbors to their homes? I rest our case.
