Rice Farm

“We ain’t where we wanna be!” but the rice farm has come a long way in the past 16 years. Once we receive the funding it will take us two years to finish, but we see a light at the end of this tunnel! Please help us get there. It costs FCOP about $1,500,000 per year just to take care of the 2500 orphans and widows we serving. That is how much we need to develop the rice farm into a mechanism that will churn out that much money on a recurring basis. Here is the math: With sustained and controlled water, every year FCOP can produce two, 7.5 ton/ha rice crops and one 8 ton/ha sorghum crop. At a value of $225/ton for raw rice and $180 for dry sorghum, a 500 ha farm of productive land should produce a gross profit of  $1,597,500.00 US per annum. This will support the Church/home ministry in Cambodia without outside assistance. Let’s make it happen!
