Thanksgiving Feasts


I wound up in Illinois, USA, for Thanksgiving; that’s the first time that has happened in 18 years. Everybody! All together now, “It’s about time!” I was with two of my brothers, a sister-in-law, and nephews and friends. It was nice to be “Home”, but I missed the ‘real deal’ that Mak Sou hosted for our staff in Cambodia. She only had one 22-pound turkey, so they improvised and bought two goats. Those, plus the turkey and all the trimmings, produced quite a feast for all.
