The development of the land is an entirely different and more difficult problem to solve. In March FCOP bought two bulldozers, two rice combines, an excavator, 500 tons of fertilizer and 100 tons of seed. We plowed 1000 acres of land, built five miles of paddy dike and built two new stainless steel rice seeders, while overhauling two major tractor engines. We also shipped a 10 ton truck, a sheep foot roller and lined up two more containers for a laser equipped bulldozer, an additional 4×4 tractor, and a chain loading scraper. All of it is coming from Colorado except for one bulldozer from Shanghai, China. We find ourselves dealing with the customs officials, shipping companies and tax departments simultaneously. When we get through this, Naret, our administrator is going to need a vacation!
