FCOPI Board Member and National Leader of The Foursquare Church in Norway, Pastor Erik Jensen came to encourage some of our pastors and leaders this past week. The adventure started with a morning meeting at Prek Touch Church where several pastors, the kids that live at the church home as well as many church members came to learn. Pastor Erik spoke about three key elements of following Christ; the Bible, the Holy Spirit, and character. He also spoke about through the power of the Holy Spirit, we are given a special power and spiritual intelligence that even though we’ve been told for years to do something a certain way, when the Holy Spirit tells us to do it differently, we need to listen and obey because His way is always better. The church then shared a family meal before the leaders went by boat, crossing the Mekong River, to visit and encourage a small village church on an island. It was a time of great fellowship, encouragement, and opportunity to share the Gospel. Thank you Pastor Erik for coming to strengthen the Cambodian pastors and leaders.
