The Road to Sustainability

Our future looked bleak. We prayed. Every year for the past seven years the giving to support orphans has been declining, yet our costs are skyrocketing. Now, any businessman will tell you that is a formula for bankruptcy. Yet we are growing and our needs are being met. For the first time in our history more money came in from Cambodia than from the outside world. We've realized that we must find alternatives for support other than foreign donations for long term survival. We still desperately need outside support, but the writing was on the wall, that well is drying up. This spring we planted 1000 acres of rice at our Balang rice farm. The land is greatly improved since last year, as you can see in the video, but we still lack water control. We need your help in prayer for a good crop and finances to finish the work. Our goal is to one day be able to see Cambodia not only support their orphans but start to pay back the rest of the world for your generosity in helping FCOP become the force it is. We are not there yet but every year we do get closer.
