Big Thud

Rice Farm Rumble? Well, more like a "Thud”! When that Cat 913 Chain Scraper got flipped off it's side and Bob and Issac Hollandsworth even got Christal to help assemble the monster. It will join its twin at our Balang Rice Farm where we have three bulldozers, a large excavator, and another Chain Scraper working from dawn till dusk every day to begin the long trek in bringing land that has been the victim of drought and floods for a couple thousand of years of being farmed into a period of stable productivity. It will take us years! But, we have to start sometime. People ask, "Why the rice farm?" My answer is simple. "Support for orphaned children has fallen off. People and churches (in general) don't fund long commitments like they used to.” I asked myself, “What can FCOP do that will provide long term support that will not burn up, get stolen or rot away that will always produce something everyone needs? My answer is RICE!”
