Crunch Time
Crunch Time! While most of the Western world mission organizations make elaborate plans through their boards and councils to take the world for Christ through various strategies and constant streams of new missionaries, Christians in China, Hong Kong, North Korea, Iran and other places of oppression are paying a price where only God can orchestrate their survival. Paul was not selected or trained by a church, seminary or missions institute. He was knocked on his butt and spent three years in the backside of the desert in the school of the Holy Spirit. He was untrained in diversity and identity politics yet somehow, being a reject, confounded his highly esteemed peers with his anointing and went on to write most of the New Testament. In Cambodia, I attribute our survival to prayer in the Holy Spirit. In my opinion, that alone has made more difference than all the clever strategies, programs and church structures in the world.
