Empowered by a Good God

Our staff and kids do pray for you every day. They may pray in a rather unusual way for many of you. They pray for your blessing of health, peace and provision, but they don't beg God for these things. They use their authority to call it forth. When they pray for the sick, they actually address the illness and command it to leave, die or dissipate. They usually have one person leading and then everyone prays out loud at once, both in the natural (Cambodian) and in the Spirit (Tongues). We do see good results, because we believe in a good God. That is not to say that we see everyone healed. We realize that we will all die one day, but we also realize we are in a war, and that in a war, there are soldiers who take a hit. We have confidence in our General Jesus, who has already assured victory; bought and paid in full.

These kids do have more time to do some praying since Cambodian schools are shut down and they are confined to their homes. We have decided that since we will be out of food in about 45 days we need to prepare gardens, even though at present we have no rain. We are ready and we do trust in a Good God. They fill their days with constructive activities. Our homes generally don't have TV's or internet connections, so we build and create things, make food, and spend time playing games and spending time with the Lord. It's not a bad system.

Our pastors have used the breakup of large meetings to start new cell groups all over Cambodia. We will use the devil's tools against him. The war goes on!
