Fruitful Harvest

Paul Mok (our rice farm manager) called me on Saturday evening, November 30th, with a report on a small tract of land that we had irrigated.  The rice was running 12+ tons per hectare! That is huge! Many farmers in our area are not even bothering to harvest. Their yields are 1 ton per hectare or less. WE hit a sweet spot when we decided to plow under our first rice crop at the end of July. We won't get that kind of yield on most of our land but we know what we are capable of! We are thankful!
