R.I.P. Robert Serna

Jesus said, “Greater love has no man than he who lays down his life for his friends.” Robert Serna came to serve the kids of FCOPI by joining the Father’s House construction team from Vacaville, CA last November.  Unbeknownst to Robert, he arrived in Cambodia with an infection in his blood which resulted in congestive heart failure.  He fought for life for two months in Bangkok,Thailand hospital. Robert moved onto Heaven on February 3rd. Robert didn’t die, he just changed addresses. He came to serve and blessed FCOP as a true servant of the ‘least of these’. I do not believe God took Robert; He received Him home. God is not in the killing business. One of the great keys in defeating Satan is, ‘to love not your life to the death.’ Robert left this earth a true hero fighting the author of death, the devil.Death came into the world through the deceitful devil; he is still the empowerer of it. Death is the last enemy to be destroyed. God takes no pleasure in a man’s death.  It is the thief who comes to kill, steal, and destroy; Jesus came to give us life and life more abundantly! "We will join you soon enough Robert, put in a good word for us in 'Headquarters'!", say Pa Thom.
