Sanitation

Sanitation is crucial in our homes. In 19 years we have never, to my knowledge, had a major outbreak of amoebic dysintary in our homes or in a visiting team member. And, we've even managed to keep it rare among our Churches. Clean water is crucial. Bob and Christal Hollandsworth with Mekara, (FCOP Staff) continuously work on our water systems with the technology of Lukas Graf (Warm Blankets, Switzerland). It is especially important as we are at the end of the dry season, with wells drying up. After all the work at Long Khit's Church/Home, including the new well, the team leader, our daughter Chanta, came down with amoebic dysintary. Guess where she got it? Long Khit's Church/Home. Fortunately, we started the medication before the lab identified it, and she is recovering.
