Spiritual Power and Deception

I started working as a “contract” employee of the U.S. Embassy in Laos out of college in 1968. During the next 3 years, I participated in the “Secret War”. I was never a C.I.A. employee but I observed the illegal, deceptive stuff they were involved in and believe it has only gotten worse over the years. I'm ashamed of what the US intelligence community has evolved into. For the past few decades, they have upended the peace of the world.

During the 1980s, Cambodia was run by the Cambodian Peoples Party working with the former Soviet Union as their main supporter. There were thousands of Russians here. Today that old Soviet Embassy is now the Russian Embassy and it is still the largest physical embassy building in Phnom Penh. Several hundred Russians continue living here and it greatly upsets me to see them being discriminated against simply due to their nationality. It reminds me of how the US treated the Japanese citizens during World War 2 and it is just wrong!

It's impossible to live in the USA or any Western nation and not be under a cloud of deception. There is a bubble of controlled information; not just from the US, but from the UN, the World Economic Forum, and virtually all media. As an example of something you will never see in the Western media; this is a quote from a Ukrainian soldier that was not allowed to surrender to the Russians by his own Ukrainian, Nazi officer and was later captured: “What are they doing? Making a human shield! They hid behind old men! Idiots! Damned Ukraine! It makes me so angry!” Mariupol residents who had to hide in the cellar during Ukrainian shelling continue to share their stories. Over 400,000 people in Mariupol had to go underground because they weren’t allowed outside the city by the Ukrainian units.

So, what is a trustworthy source of truth? It is truth revealed through the Holy Spirit. Many pastors think I’m crazy to say such a thing but, Jesus agrees with me: Jesus said, “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.” I do hear from the Holy Spirit. America is being deceived regarding Ukraine. I pray daily for peace in Ukraine, for the Kingdom of God to come and His will to be done. I agonize with everyone who has been injured, displaced, or lost loved ones, property, and homes. I pray Russia gets out of Ukraine quickly and that the Church rises up with compassion for the broken Ukrainian people. I do believe that God is using Russia to break US hegemony over that nation. Russia wants 4 things:

1) a non-NATO aligned Ukraine

2) no persecution of Russian speaking Eastern provinces

3) no bio-weapons labs

4) the denazification of the current government

Churches teach Biblical truth and we desperately need that; but that alone does not guide our daily lives in terms of how we interpret current events, especially if we are being lied to. The Holy Spirit will never contradict the written Word of God. He will always direct our paths in the ways of truth. Many Christians tend to rely on an intellectual perception of what the Bible says and they lack the vitality of a personal relationship with the Holy Spirit. We believe Jesus never walked in the power of God until He was baptized in the Holy Spirit. This is a power which can totally bypass your intellectual ability and is received through spiritual communion with God via praying in the Holy Spirit; “tongues”.
