"What's Your Problem?"
We were facing our second failed rice crop. The rice production to feed our 3,000 kids, staff and widows for the next year was just days from extinction. We have pastors stricken with cancer and kidney failure and our prayers for healing were not being answered. The Lord reminded me of an encounter my younger brother had a few years ago: Brother Bob was going through some really rough financial times. He's a believer and was confused as to why he was suffering all these continuous problems. As he was complaining to God about his circumstances, the Lord spoke to him, "Do you trust Me?" My brother answered, "Yes Lord, I trust You." The Lord asked him again, "Do you trust Me?" My brother answered Him again, "Yes Lord, I trust You.' Then the Lord asked him a third time, "Do you trust Me?” My brother, feeling God was not hearing him, shouted, "Yes Lord, I trust You!" The Lord replied, "Then what's your problem?"
I remembered that and my anxiety left me. That evening, September 27th, we received eight inches (20 cm) of rain on our rice and we continue. Despite what we face, we really don't have a problem. We received notice that our pastor in Pursat, Cambodia lost her fight against kidney failure at 11:40 PM, Sept. 30, 2020. We are still praying in faith for our other stricken staff members.
