Why Are We Confident?

After the locust attacks are announced in Joel 1:4, events looked pretty bleak for the kingdom of Judah until we see the promise of God in Joel 2:19, “Behold, I will send you grain and new wine and oil and you will be satisfied by them…” That is very relevant to FCOP. Earlier in November we were on a midnight Zoom call with one of our partners, Gleanings for the Hungry. They have supplied us with food products for nearly 20 years and I mentioned our need for cooking oil. They are working on obtaining two shipping containers for us, plus the soup mix, dried fruit and other food products they ship to us routinely! We also received feedback from our friends at Butte County Rice Growers that they are working on additional rice for us and Reach Now International has obtained another shipment of Nutrition Rice meals for December from Feed My Starving Children. A huge help is the 50% cost share we have granted to us to cover ocean freight shipping by Children's Hunger Fund. We are truly thankful! (Play Video)
