Siem Reap

The Siem Reap home is located in the town of Siem Reap, in Cambodias Siem Reap province.

Each year, Siem Reap is attracting more and more tourists from around the world, for it is home of one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, Angkor Watt. The town near the church home is experiencing rapid development fueled by this growing tourist industry.

Being located in a town like Siem Reap has many benefits for the orphan home. Unlike many orphan care facilities elsewhere, this home enjoys electricity, convenience, a healthy environment, and access to good schools.

In the immediate area surrounding the church, there is a sizable Moslem presence. A large mosk can be seen from the grounds of the homes. Often, the mosk’s loudspeaker is heard throughout the community.

The Siem Reap Home is impacting that community for Christ. The orphans are not the only ones being ministered to in the church home. The church is spreading the gospel in the area and leading people to Christ. Witnessing the pure faith and worship of the orphans brings people closer to God. The Siem Reap Home is a beautiful, happy place in which a family of happy orphans can be raised.
