A Lesson in Faith

There are few things that profoundly impact me to the extent of the last line of this quote: "…but now I know that prayer changes us and we change things." This is easy to say, but once the revelation of the deep meaning of this sinks into your soul, it will change the way you think of yourself. You see, we are the body of Christ. “Because as He is, so are we in this world." (1Jn 4:17b). It moves you from simply begging God to do something to actually moving in faith believing that we are empowered do the works of Christ (Jn 14:12). Almost sounds blasphemous, doesn't it? But, If you can actually wrap your faith around that you will become dangerous to the devil.
