A New Start

At our morning FCOP staff meetings we begin our prayer time by praying in the Holy Spirit (Tongues). We do this to confuse the devil, as he doesn't understand. Then we pray in the natural language (Cambodian and English) to keep our souls focused on what we desire to see God do. God then moves through us to perform His will. Here is an example: We had a dead church on our hands and our hopes for revival were nil since the congregation had been squeezed out by rising property costs. With the cost of land and buildings skyrocketing in Cambodia, mainly due to Chinese immigration, and giving for orphan care declining every year, we thought our church building days were over. Yet, this week we are moving into our new Church/Home in Kampong Som, Cambodia. How? We sold the old building and followed the people to the edge of town. We now have twice the land, an anointed and focused young pastor, a thriving congregation and a beautiful new building. FCOP has a team coming to help build a fence and it will house orphaned and separated children from that region.[nggallery id=1748]
