Building New Gardens

The children and staff of every FCOP church home (there are 106 locations) are encouraged to grow much of their own food. A grant from Children’s Hunger Fund made garden and livestock production facilities possible for many of the homes that lacked this ability. One of our latest new gardens to go in was at our Chom Chao location. Due to the potential for large amounts of rain during the fall months, the vegetables have to be planted in raised beds. It takes a lot of work but the results are worth it.
