Stupid is as Stupid Does

“Stupid is as Stupid does.” A lot of the local farmers think that Forrest Gump’s mother was referring to me. FCOP is in the middle of building 1200 tons of new rice drying and storage facilities for a crop that has just been plowed under. It really doesn’t look very smart but it is a strategic step in the development of our rice farm. This equipment was purchased last January and arrived in three containers on August 3rd and there will be a time when we need it.  Really, when you consider what is at stake, just remember how last year we had to float our crop out of the fields by raft. It really doesn’t do any good to produce a good crop if you can’t store it.
