Children’s Ministry

The latest Cambodian 2019 statistics showed that almost 31% of the country’s population is under the age of 14. This is a people group with much potential to be reached with the good news of Jesus. In 2006, FCOP moved the office facilities to its present location. Unbeknownst to us, a shipment of flannel graph Bible stories were stashed under boxes of old financial records in a forty foot shipping container. We finally cleaned out the container in July. It was like striking gold. Our children’s ministry team has been working hard to develop evangelism bags that will be sent to the provinces to assist in creatively reaching young people for Christ.  We are including Khmer illustrated and translated Bibles, Gospel bracelets, teaching resources such as coloring pages, felt figures for flannel boards to help bring the Bible lesson to life, art and craft supplies, and even a few games.  As each bag is completed, the team prays over them believing that God will use these resources to share the good news of Jesus with the next generation.
