Horns of a Dilemma

Most of you are facing hard decisions. I only know of one way to proceed that has worked for me. Pray in the Spirit and in the natural until you have peace then proceed and don't look back. We, like you have had to make hard decisions. One that particularly troubled me was planting our 1000 acre rice farm with no water in the rivers and only the promise of future rain. Those of you who have farmed know that planting a modern rice crop is not cheap. I did not have the money to even buy the fertilizer, let alone, the diesel fuel, repairs and pesticides to get a crop to harvest. We had the seed but we were also facing running out of rice by June. We have enough seed to feed our kids almost 3 months. I prayed and God showed me a picture in my mind of the widow at Zaraphath who gave the prophet the last food that she had. God supernaturally met her need (1Kings 17:7-16). We have decided to plant. I have no idea how I will pay the bills and no idea how we will sustain our staff, orphans and widows. This is not new to me but it seems that the realities I see are more bleak than in the past. I'm sure many of you feel the same. All I can do is encourage you to follow the Spirit and go full speed ahead. We have 80% of the crop in the ground, our seed is going into the soil and the last rice we had in storage was sold to pay some of our past due bills. We will wait and see.
