Progress

In Cambodia, New Year comes in mid April, so Happy New Year! The country was on "lock-down" so, the New Year celebration was cancelled and gatherings were forbidden. It was strange to look down the streets and see zero activity but this has not been an unproductive year!  When I look back, it is hard to believe, but there is something almost magical about being faithful. We continue to plant and establish new churches, build buildings, improve old facilities, and expand the kingdom of God with a decreasing budget. Yet, without planned provision many wonderful things have happened at the rice farm this year.  It is really hard to explain. We've constructed a 1500 ton rice drying and storage facility, built about 10 kilometers of all-weather road, cleared, improved and leveled more than 100 hectares, dug 4 kilometers of canal and pushed up 10 kilometers of dike, all while seemingly running on vapor. Our crop was very poor last year due to drought and blocked rivers. Yet, despite this a lot of progress has taken place. (Dam Video)

But, the best is yet to come! I have a vision of a 18-hectare lake, seven meters deep (That's about 45 acres, 23 feet deep) with canals and pumps to water 400 hectares. It's a huge project that will take most of a year to build but it is in our future. Of course, we need donors to get us there and we have to believe in faith we will get there. Maybe you are part of this or know someone who can help? If you have any interest please reply to this email and I can send you our full proposal.
