Keep Learning

Being led by the Spirit does not mean you quit learning! It takes courage to be a transitional leader. We have to constantly be learning how to apply the wisdom God has given us. FCOP just sent a group of our young leaders to Malaysia to learn about "City Transformation". Most of the worlds populations are migrating to cities. Cities present great opportunities both for good and evil. People all seek peace, Shalom, which literally means, "May your life be free from chaos." Problems come when we start dealing with our lack of peace through using drugs, alcohol, sexual relations or even work and making money to mask our pain. Those addictions can be tougher to break than chains of physical bondage. It really takes a church empowered by the Holy Spirit to minister and demonstrate victorious living. Learning to be Christ's ambassadors in urban society takes serious effort, discipline and warfare. It too will cost a price. Freedom is never free of struggle. Our hope is in Christ.
