Miracle Meeting

April 15th Mak Sou traveled to Bohol, Philippines, where 1,150 women were gathered, (1000 more were turned away) for their annual women's meeting. Sou was angry with the devil and he got his teeth kicked in! We have never seen this intensity of healing in any of our thousands of ministry events in Cambodia. For the next two nights there were multiple miraculous healings and deliverances. Cancers literally fell off, several totally blind people were healed. A woman with the spirit of murder, who planned to jump off a seven meter balcony and cut Sou with broken glass, was delivered just before she jumped. God was showing who really is in charge!
Why is it that we see such powerful demonstrations of power mixed with these terrible attacks? One of the great maxims in warfare is: "Never underestimate your enemy!" The expression has probably been around as long as warfare, but was recorded as being spoken by General George Washington during the American Revolution in 1777. We Christians love to talk about the devil being a defeated foe. That he is! But, he still goes around seeking whom he may devour. So what is it? Victory or defeat? We live in an, "Already-Not Yet" world. Our eternity is secure in Christ, but if you you are not taking an occasional hit, you probably aren't doing much to build the Kingdom of God. Remember, the 12 guys who initially received the Holy Spirit, raised the dead, healed the sick and cast out devils? Well, all of them, with the exception of John, died violent deaths; and legend tells us John was boiled in oil but came out of the pot unscathed riding on the flesh hook. I know some of you may be thinking, "Why blame the devil?" Why not?? Spiritual warfare works!
