Mountain Top Church Dedication

New church groups always spring out of these celebrations, in fact one was started as a result of our visit to the remote home group along the Mekong. The celebrations in Pursat Province sent the District Supervisor up a long mountain trail to discover a group of about 100 believers. Mak Sou went with our daughter Chanta to attend the dedication of a new church building in the mountains of Siem Reap Province.

Chanta said, "Drove up past Siem Reap into the mountains to a church dedication. What a ride! It’s a one lane road that you can only travel up in the morning and then they close it for the afternoon so they can switch traffic directions. A different world! Along the way we got fresh off the mountain honeycomb (including bees in it), red bananas with a very interesting name, and had an opportunity to dance and celebrate with our FCOP mountain region people." We have one more church ready for dedication and two more church buildings scheduled for construction in 2019. We actually need several more. Groups are meeting under trees all over Cambodia.
