New Church

 

We are constructing our first church home in nine years. We found out that the price is almost double what it was back then. The big game changer is labor. We used to be able to hire skilled labor for $1.00 per day. Now the price is more like $6.00 per day. That changes things in a hurry! It is wonderful to see the Cambodian economy being lifted but their living costs have gone up almost as dramatically.  Despite the labor costs, our new building is getting close to being finished and we are happy to be building it with more than a three year life expectancy.
