Our Primary Purpose

COVID-19 has resulted in churches being unable to formally meet throughout Cambodia.  Even so, the Church continues to grow.  We continue to train pastors with virtual daily training that goes out to about 1,000 leaders. During July, small teams of these pastors from Pursat, Siem Reap, Ratanakiri, Mondulkiri, Kampong Speu, and Kampong Chhnang provinces have been traveling into the villages to establish new discipleship groups. These dedicated apostolic leaders respond to invitations from people who have come to know Jesus though our active churches and desire to have a formal group with teaching. They travel on unpaved roads that are often no more than mountain trails. They spend days in the jungle and have learned to live off the land; disappearing for as long as it takes to share the love of Jesus with those living in the communities where they are led. Oftentimes they run into animistic (demonic spirit worshiping) groups and are able to both deliver them of spirits causing pain and illness, but also introduce them to Jesus and baptize them in water and with the Holy Spirit. Cambodia is coming to Christ!
