Virtual Teams

We have our first team since COVID-19 hit! Well, virtual team that is. Pastor Lisa Machen from Church of the Open Door in Iowa, a longtime partner of FCOP, contacted us with the idea from their team members that were missing Cambodia.  We immediately thought it was a great idea! We're getting photos and videos of the construction needs for the team to see firsthand and start fundraising. The expense of airline tickets can be saved and rolled over into helping work on accomplishing the construction project. We will miss having the team members here in person to invest time with the staff and kids, but this is a great substitute until we're able to welcome guests back into Cambodia. Our church refuge centers have been severely affected by flooding this year as the floods have spread to 23 of the 25 provinces. As Thanksgiving and Christmas approach, if you are interested in helping make a difference in the lives of the children and staff at one of our church refuge centers by helping with repairs, please consider putting together a "virtual team."
