The ‘cubs’ arise. About ten years ago the ‘Young Lions’ came onto the Cambodian church scene with a fresh zeal for expanding the Kingdom of God. Many of those Lions are close to thirty years old and the younger generation of children raised by FCOP are rising up eager to carry on the fight for the souls of Cambodian’s youth. “This young group is as hungry for the power of God as their older brothers and sisters”, commented Pastor David Norton from Romania. He was here for the first revival. About 250 key youth leaders were hand picked from around the nation and paid most of their own way to come to Phnom Penh for the event. None left without a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit, several actually received Christ, and many received healing, with a few delivered from evil spirits. “This is the ‘kickstart of a new era!”, says Pa Thom, “Let it roll on!”
