Rice Farm Nemesis

Snakes, Rats and Bombs; the nemesis of rice farm this spring. There is so much to the development of this vast project that, at first sight, it can seem overwhelming to the casual observer. Paul Mok (pictured with the snake) is our field general and Pa Thom the visionary. The project is not just about clearing, leveling and diking land but, road access, land consolidation, market development, milling and storage problems; transportation, and then all the pests and problems (above) along the way. We proceed step by step, and it seems that every day we encounter a new challenge, as I write, we are facing a computer problem in our big track-hoe. Please pray for this “Hope” to be realized! In my mind, I’m already there.
