Pray for Rain on Rice

Chinese dams are in the news again but this time for a different reason. Excessive rains in Eastern China are threatening to burst several dams putting millions of lives at risk. However, the dams along the Mekong and its tributaries to the west are still holding back the water which needs to come to Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. Cambodia's rivers are dry. The FCOP rice crop was planted in faith and is 100% dependent upon natural rainfall as the rivers give us no help and FCOP does not have the funds for a sufficient reservoir. This year is a very expensive faith lesson for us. There is a huge investment in planting 1,000 acres of rice and we could lose it all if the rains don't fall. So far, we are still alive but we need rain. Please pray for rain on our rice and a good crop! We have no rice left and are totally dependent on our foreign donations. We cannot lose this crop! Right now our rice field is still ok but, the stand is uneven due to lack of water cover. We can still get a decent yield but we need lots of rain soon!
