Sink Their Boat!

"Since we tried to sink his boat the least we can do is lead him to Jesus!", I exclaimed to Thany as we were hopping off two rickety boats we'd just used to cross the Mekong River. I poked at his belly and joked, "If you didn't eat so much pizza, you might not have broken through his deck." Turning to the Vietnamese/Cambodian boat Captain, I asked him, "Do you want to receive Jesus?" A broad smile crossed his face, "Yes! And my family!"I turned back to Thany, "Well, what are you waiting for?" Thanny prayed and the Captain, His wife and son all asked Jesus to become Lord of their lives. Then the local pastor invited them to bring their boats back to church the next Sunday. I wish all evangelism was that easy! We need to sink more boats.
