The Big Chill

I received a special notice from both the Cambodian Department of Meteorology and the weather service I subscribe to for the rice farm that a severe cold spell is expected in Cambodia from mid December through mid January. In some rural areas, temperatures are expected to hit the high 40's F and that's only about 9 degrees C! FCOP staff went into emergency mode and purchased three truckloads full of jackets and hooded sweatshirts so that every one of the children and staff at our 106 Church Refuge Centers have warm clothing. We are still packing bags as I write this, so please pray for the health of our kids and staff through this cold period. Thanks!  Winter is officially upon us.
