To The Wire

A couple of our 106 Refuge Centers had run out of food and were borrowing it from people at the market and local rice mills. We were probably about two weeks from being totally out with no prospects for re-supply. The mercy of God kicked in and FCOP received a couple big miracles (60 tons worth). Bill Meyer from Reach Now International managed to persuade Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) to hand pack two 40 foot long shipping containers with 40 tons of Manna Pack (nutrition rice meals). Lou Binninger lines up all the logistics. Lou also procured a 20 ton shipment of flaked soybean protein and 3,600 gallons of cooking oil from ADM through Gleanings for the Hungry (this is big)! To sweeten the deal, Children’s Hunger Fund paid for half of the freight. It's quite a team that has been assembled. It is like the home team throwing a 90 yard Hail-Mary pass play as the clock ticks down and you are five points behind. All I can say is, "God bless you! Well done!” His mercies are new every morning!
