Victory Gardens

During the World Wars, citizens from around the world planted ‘Victory’ gardens in any available land to alleviate food shortages. FCOP has instructed every Refuge Center to do the same. Although all of the homes already have gardens, home directors were asked to expand and improve them any way they could. Rocks were moved, brush cleared and dozens of new garden spaces have been created. These will be a big help. We have faith for the rice and fish are usually able to be found in the rivers and creeks even during dry periods. The key lacking ingredients are green vegetables and fruit. Healthy diets make healthy kids!
