What difference can a good hair washing make? It can be a tangible representation of God’s love and care to some of the poorest of the poor. We saw a practical demonstration of this at the Steung Siem Reap Church in Siem Reap province. Pastor Chhaiiya and his church members saw a need within their community and he went outside of the four walls of the church to serve the young people in the village around them. This is the type of selfless service that Jesus talked about when he said that we are to think of others more than ourselves. Out of the generosity of the church, while they had little money to give, God multiplied that gift to show His love to a whole community.
