Coincidence or Miracle

I asked Paul Mok, “How much is this virus chemical going to cost us?” He called back and told me it was $6,750. We had just finished putting out an appeal and gotten enough given so FCOP could feed our kids until this crop came in. We were blessed greatly to receive enough to scrape by but I had nothing left over. He pleaded, “Pa, we have to get it now! If we wait it may not get here in time!” I knew the risk and I was rolling it around in my mind trying to figure out what I could do. I told him to call the dealer, who had sold to us before, and see if he would ship it today if we would promise payment by Friday, May 29th. The seller agreed and we ordered it. I was thinking of who I could go beg a quick loan from and how I could get this charged on a credit card. I walked back into the prayer meeting. The staff were all praying in “tongues” so, I joined in. At conclusion of prayer I threw in, “God, give us the money to kill this virus!” We all said “Amen” and I walked into my office.  When I looked at my screen I notice an email from Union Church in Hong Kong. Hong Kong is going through hell right now so I expected an appeal for help from them. What I found was this: “Please note that Union Church has received the designated giving of HK$50,000 for Foursquare Children of Promise (FCOP-Cambodia). I have transferred this fund to your organization. You will receive it tomorrow.” I clicked on the currency calculator and it showed this as equal to $6,790US. I knew that the bank deducts a $15 transfer fee, so the net amount equaled $6,750US.
