First Team in Three Years!

The first team to visit Cambodia from the USA in more than three years came in mid January. Pastors from B4 Church in Beaverton, Oregon, USA came to Cambodia to see the work of their supported missionary, Shanon Hladek. It was a special time for Shanon as B4 is the church she was attending, and they sent her to the field. The group was able to attend our weekly Friday night prayer at the National Training Center and then travel to Prey Touch Church/Home in Kandal Province where they met with the kids and pastors. They ended their visit with a boat ride across the Mekong River to visit one of our home churches on an island that started when a blind woman was healed about four years ago. Here is the experience in Shanon’s own words: “It was wonderful to have pastors from my sending church in America come to Cambodia and see firsthand how God is moving in this beautiful but broken country. It makes me forever thankful to know that I have such an amazing church family back home praying for me as I live out God’s calling on my life. One of the highlights was being able to pray and worship together as a global family. I will always treasure the joy I felt when my two church families finally met. Thank you, B4 Church, for partnering with FCOP and coming to encourage me. Your love for Cambodia is evident.” We want to thank B4 Church for coming to pray for and to encourage our pastors and kids. Your coming added value and honor to them.
