Two new believers who have received Jesus also receive prayer for deliverance during Bible School.

Two of the men from the 4000 family city came back to Phnom Penh to study to become Pastors. They are ‘oral learners’ having never attended school. They will use the “Proclaimer Audible Bibles” for self study and teaching. We brought in about sixty of our key leaders to go through the basic “Refresher Course”. Mak Sou was the main instructor. One of the two new believers showed some hesitancy, he said he’d, “Sacrificed himself to Jesus Christ.” Sou explained that sacrifice was not what God wanted, and walked him through the basics of salvation. He became agitated and his eyes rolled shut. Sou called ten of the Young Tigers to come up and deal with the demon. He might have weighed 130 pounds. With five grown men on each arm he threw them around like bowling pins. Sou told the pastors to open his eyes and make eye contact. They did, and after 30 minutes of prayerful authority, that devil came out. It was a tough fight, as his grandfather had been a shaman. To the Western world this seems very strange, probably to some, unbelievable! But, then, much of Jesus’ ministry was in deliverance and healing, and he spoke a lot about persecution for doing good.
