Bill Norton just had the “Best Day of His Life”! (I know, except for the day he received Christ.) He died. A lot of people will ask you at some point, “What was the best day of your life?” Some will say, “The day I got married”, others, “The day my first child was born” and still others, “The day I opened my own business”. But none of those are true if you are a Christian. Solomon, the wisest man to ever live, said this: “A good name is better than precious ointment, and the day of death than the day of one’s birth;” Truly, what thing on earth is better than what we will have in heaven? 

Bill was a true Prophet. He saved this ministry in the early days from a corrupt national leader and if he had not given me a warning of that coming event, Sou and I would have quit the mission field in 2000 and gone back to the USA. I honor you Bill, even though I am a little jealous, I will patiently await my appointed time. See you soon, my dear friend! I do pray blessings of peace and comfort for those who ache for your lost companionship, but they will also soon be rejoicing with you! Enjoy the party!

So why didn’t Bill get his healing? Why didn’t Beni Johnson (wife of Pastor Bill Johnson from Bethel Church in Redding, California) get hers? Short answer is: “I don’t know!” But don’t come back with that “God is sovereign”, “God’s will” stuff! Death is an enemy! God and the Devil don’t share in death! That is strictly the Devil’s work! (Jn 8:44). So, what is the sum of it? God is good! And God knows more about this than we do! My theology is summed up in Isaiah 57:1-2. (I suggest you read it.)
