In the heart of Kompong Chnang Province, on Tumnub Island, a miraculous tale unfolded. Yon Sary, a 43yr old  woman was burdened by a severe illness leaving her swollen and desperate for help. She sold many of her possessions and even some of her land to pay for medical care. Physicians could not find a cure or cause of her condition. Exhausting her resources on medical treatments, she was left without hope. She was sent home to die. Her aunt went to the local temple to have water blessed by the monks and remembered the words of the local pastor about the praying to God for healing. Her aunt tracked down the pastor to ask them to come and pray for her niece. The pastor gathered his small team including some former orphans to go and pray for Yon Sary Through the power of prayer, brought forth by our pastors and orphan children, her life began to transform. She not only experienced physical healing but also found a new purpose, becoming part of our Refuge Home. Yon Sary’s journey is a testament to the remarkable ways faith and compassion can work miracles.
